Cemetery in Bridgetown

At the end of July, whilst on my honeymoon in Barbados we visited the cemetery of a cathedral that dates back to the 1600s. The cemetery was in pretty bad shape overall but one thing caught me by surprise. In one corner by the cemetery wall was a pile of turned up dirt with bone fragments and one half of a set of dentures. It was surprising to me that this was just left in the open. I don’t know what the regulations are in Barbados so maybe this is a common practice there but it was definitely an attention getting moment!
